On October 16th, 2017, Corrie participated in Johns Hopkins Medicine’s inaugural Digital Health Day, a symposium that brought Johns Hopkins’ health technology innovators from all across the JHU campus together in a single space to meet, discuss, and collaborate with one another in the field of digital health. Among the extensive list of speakers were e-Patient Dave, Paul Nagy from the Technology Innovation Center, and Alain Labrique from the Hopkins Global mHealth Initiative.
The Corrie team’s very own Physician Champion Dr. Seth Martin spoke as a panelist on the topic of Patient Engagement and discussed the successes and challenges involved in the creation, development, continued refinement, and clinical testing of Corrie. In addition, the Corrie team tabled in the venue across the auditorium with pamphlets, wrist bands, and live demonstrations of Corrie’s functions. Many investigators, investors, and vendors showed significant interest in the Corrie application and the potential Corrie holds as a digital health intervention for heart attack patients.
