Honorable Mention at the High Value Practice Academic Alliance

The Corrie team had a great time at the inaugural National Research & Education Conference of the High Value Practice Academic Alliance, held on October 8 and 9th in Baltimore, MD. The conference focused on improving quality and safety in health care delivery. This exciting symposium brought together healthcare providers from over 44 medical centers across the country, and featured 22 podium presentations and 100 Q/I posters.

Helen Xun, a 3rd year medical student at the Johns Hopkins University SOM and critical member of the Corrie team, won an Honorable Mention prize in the Provider Behavioral Modification and IT section for her poster “Smart Medicine: Implementing a Mobile Application & Wearable Technology to Improve Hospital Discharge Patient Safety & Quality: Preliminary 30-Day Readmission & Cost-Effective Findings from the MiCORE Study”. Congratulations to Helen and the Corrie team!
