On September 21, 2018, Francoise Marvel MD represented the Corrie Team at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2018 Conference in San Diego. She presented “A Personalized App-Based Post-MI Self Management Tool” at the feature session in Digital Health Care and received interest from panelists and attendees from around the world (including US, Australia, Hong Kong, and Germany). TCT is a conference in the area of interventional cardiovascular medicine, showcasing the latest innovations, therapies, and clinical research. It was a privilege to meet with industry leaders and explore partnerships. By empowering heart attack survivors to understand and track medications, Corrie has the potential to improve adherence to dual-antiplatelet therapy, which is a critical step in allowing stents placed to open up blocked arteries to continue to function, preventing recurrent heart attacks and readmissions to the hospital.
