Dr. Apurva is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the division of Cardiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. As a medicine post-grad from India, she completed residency training at the Saint Peter’s University Hospital/Rutgers University and has published multiple research papers, presentations, and has won several awards in the field of cardiology. She has a strong interest in translational, patient-oriented research and innovation which include topics such as arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, digital health solutions and global health. She was drawn to the Corrie Team due to her passion for enhancing patient care with novel healthcare interventions. As a researcher, she is currently focusing on clinical implementation and scaling of Corrie by clinicians and other health care providers to improve patient outcomes in a larger in-patient setting. When she is not working, she enjoys travelling and exploring new places and making new friends.
