William Yang, MD, is an Internal Medicine resident physician at Johns Hopkins Bayview. He has an extensive background in information technology, and is interested in bridging the gap between clinicians, patients, and technology to improve healthcare. Dr. Yang completed his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins in Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science. He completed medical school at Duke University. As a part of the MiCORE team, he brings his clinical and technical expertise to the benefit of both teams, directs the iShare smartphone loaner program, and is leading efforts to bring Apple TVs to patients as well as integrating Corrie with the electronic medical record. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and checking out restaurants in Baltimore.
